General Information

Cost: SCCV members $35/Non-members $40

Location: This year we are happy to announce a partnership with Stowe Mountain Resort for 4 autocross events to be held in the Mansfield Parking Lot.

Some SCCV autocrosses are held at Vermont Technical College, Randolph Center, Vermont, in the south lot. It is about a mile east of Exit 4 off I-89. Here is a map of the site.

Generally a driver will receive 5 to 7 timed runs during an event depending on the length of the course, and number of drivers. Timed runs end around 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and fun runs will occur for $1 per run or for one non-perishable item of food.

Please support the local food shelf at each event by bringing non-perishable food items to be delivered to the food shelf after each event.

Time penalties are charged for disturbing cones. The penalty is 2 seconds per cone in SCCV Autocrosses unless otherwise stated in the drivers meeting. A driver is awarded the best time of all runs taken.

Typical daily schedule
(This schedule is subject to change.)

  • Set-up: Participants arrive by 8:00 a.m. to set up the course, timing, help with registration, and other event related duties. If your car needs “preparations” for the event please arrive early to take care of them so you are available to help with set-up. Earlier is always better!
  • Registration: 8:15 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.; fill out the event registration form, insurance waiver and pay for the event. Event registration forms will be available at the event and in the autocross section of the SCCV forums, this is not a pre-registration form, this is only to reduce registration time at the table on event day. **PLEASE REGISTER A.S.A.P. UPON ARRIVAL AT THE EVENT**
  • Tech Inspection: 8:15 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
  • Driver’s Meeting: 9:00 a.m. to 9:10 a.m.

 

  • First Car Off: 9:30 a.m.
  • Course break down: Completed by 5:00 p.m.
