SCCV Ice Time Trial Info
General Information
Ice time trials are timed events where there is one car on the track (or section of the track) at a time and he/she is 'racing' against the clock. The SCCV ITTs are held every Sunday on Mallett's Bay in Colchester, Vermont, weather permitting.Cost: SCCV members $20/Non-members $25

The SCCV ITTs are held on Sundays, weather permitting. Here's hoping for 2008! Keep an eye on the SCCV Forums and this page for up-to-date information.8:30 Setup of perimeter. Come on down to help.
9:00 Registration opens. Course setup begins.
9:15 Tech inspection starts.
10:00 Registration closes. Driver's Meeting.
10:10 Line up for FAM run.
10:15 FAM run begins. (No course overlap, all one group)
10:30 First car off, first heat.
1:00 Second heat.
3:30 Complete second heat. Fun Runs begin.
4:00 Wrap it up and warm up.

I-89 to exit 16 (Colchester, Vermont)
Take a LEFT at the end of the exit ramp if heading SOUTH (reset odometer to zero at first traffic light)
- or -
Take a RIGHT at the end of the exit ramp if heading NORTH (reset odometer to zero).
Now you should drive through THREE traffic lights (four if you were heading south on I-89).
At the fourth light (1.8 miles) take the LEFT onto Blakely Road.
(4.4 miles) Blakely turns into West Lake Shore Drive at traffic light. (continue straight) .
Landmarks between 4.4 miles and 5.4 miles are: Texaco station and strip mall on your right, PVT Coates Island Road, a field and then....
(5.4 miles) Turn RIGHT at the entrance to Mallet's Bay boat access.
Continue straight out onto the lake and proceed to the first Island on your right.
Car Classes
The SCCV uses a very basic and simple classing system for our ITTs. There are only 8 classes based on drive wheels/axles and tire type. Helmets and Seatbelts are required in all vehicles. (No motorcycles or snow machines allowed)
