DESCRIPTION:About this event\n\nSCCV 2025 Summer Series Event \nAutocross #8 on Sunday 10/5 @ DRM \n7AM start for setup/organizing \n8AM-4PM main event timeline  \nMSR registration: $40 members / $50 non-members (includes 1 day membership) \nSign up for a 2025 SCCV membership for only $20 and save on entry fees all season! \n2025 SCCV Membership \nCurrently there are no bathroom facilities at the event site\, however there may be a porta potty and there are also several local businesses \nEvent is subject to potential cancellation and all participants will receive credits or refunds (whichever is preferred) \nPlease fully read through the rules and guidelines found in the links below which are also on the website SCCV.org in the autocross section before participating. SCCV uses a different classing system to SCCA\, so please be sure to read the Rules and Classing document for full info. Help with classing can also be given day of the event\, just be sure to ask an organizer. \nAutocross Guide \nAutocross Rules & Classing \n\n\n\n\n\nEvent requirements\n\nThis event is open to all licensed drivers over the age of 18. \nLicensed drivers under 18 are allowed. If the licensed participant is under 18 years of age\, the participant will require both parent’s signature of a minor liability waiver at the first event\, and at least one parent present at all events (whether driving or riding as a passenger). \nHelmets are required for this event. (Snell M2010 or SA2010 minimum\, No DOT only). \nAll vehicles will be required to pass a technical inspection prior to running the event. \nAny vehicle deemed to have a high rollover risk is subject to being excluded from running the event. Please reach out to an admin if your vehicle could be in question. \nConvertibles are strongly suggested to have rollover protection but not required for this venue. \nPlease be aware that regular auto insurance policies do not cover damage to your vehicle while participating in motorsports events. Drivers are responsible for removing damaged vehicles from the track/course\, and for repairing any damage to said vehicle. Drivers have the option to purchase off-track/autocross insurance through unaffiliated companies such as Lockton Motorsports (https://locktonmotorsports.com/product/off-track-insurance).
