2024 SCCV Winter Series Event\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wintercross #2<\/strong><\/p>\n

Airborne Park Speedway, Plattsburgh NY<\/strong><\/p>\n

Saturday February 3rd,\u00a02024<\/strong><\/p>\n

8:00AM-5PM<\/strong><\/p>\n

Entry fees: $40 members \/ $50\u00a0non-members (includes one day SCCV membership for event day)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Onsite registration will also be available if needed. Sign up for a 2024 calender\u00a0year membership for only $20 here:\u00a02024 SCCV Membership<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

SCCV Wintercross is a frozen surface time trial event\u00a0held on the main racetrack of Airborne Park Speedway. Course format will utilize parts of the\u00a01\/2 mile oval, infield roads and cart loops on a plowed track. Please see event picture for track layout.<\/p>\n

Pits\/Paddock will be the area inside the main gates, and will vary based on snow conditions. If you plan to trailer a vehicle, please send us and email if possible so we can\u00a0gauge\/adjust plowing needs to accommodate.<\/p>\n

There is no\u00a0public\u00a0bathroom located onsite, however porta potties will be available<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

This event is open to all licensed drivers over the age of 18, as well as minors who have a valid drivers license and meet the minor consent requirements found in the Wintercross Rules & Classing<\/p>\n

Helmets are required for this event. (Snell M2010\u00a0or SA2010\u00a0minimum, No DOT only). The club\u00a0has a handful of\u00a0loaner helmets\u00a0from Zamp\u00a0Racing available\u00a0in a variety of sizes to be used by new participants if needed.<\/p>\n

All vehicles will be required to pass a technical inspection prior to running the event. Tech inspection\u00a0requirements can be found in the Wintercross\u00a0Rules & Classing<\/p>\n

Convertibles are required\u00a0to have sufficient rollover protection at this event. Hard tops\/multipoint braced hoops of sufficient thickness\u00a0that pass a broomstick test above driver’s head. For specific questions on your vehicle setup, please reach out to an admin of SCCV<\/p>\n

Please be aware that regular auto insurance policies do not cover damage to your vehicle while participating in motorsports events. Drivers are responsible for removing damaged vehicles from the track\/course, and for repairing any damage to said vehicle. Drivers have the option to purchase off-track\/autocross insurance through unaffiliated companies such as Lockton Motorsports\u00a0(Locktonmotorsports<\/a>\u00a0).<\/p>\n
